Fisheries & Seafood show was the biggest one yet. 1,600 exhibitors from 50 countries and 25,000 visitors from all over the world populated the 10 halls of the Qingdao International Exposition Center during the 3-day event. As always, Duntower Corporation was present among the crowd representing its business abroad.

The show has been around since 1996, when it was created as a joint venture between the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Unit, and Sea Fare Expositions, Inc.

Since its beginning, China Fisheries & Seafood Expo has been held in important cities such as Beijing, Dalian, Shanghai and Guangzhou, but in 2014 it moved permanently to Qingdao, a city chosen due to its large and growing base of both primary and secondary processors as well as seafood importers.

This event was a great place to showcase our products and present our services to the Asian market. During the three days the show lasted, we also took advantage of different meetings and expositions.

From September 17, we were present at WorldFood Moscow 2018, a four-day event acknowledged as the best platform for the introduction of new products to the Russian market.

The massive event, an international trade fair for food & drinks, took place in Moscow. The trade show was a huge success, as some of the after-fair statistics illustrate: approximately 30,000 visitors and more than 1,500 exhibitors from over 60 countries met at the different pavilions.

WorlfFood Moscow 2018 proved to be the perfect place to promote our products and services, and boost sales, with a large audience of wholesalers, key buyers, national chains, retailers, and distributors from Russia and around the world. We hope to see you at our next destination!



From May 16 to May 18, we joined over 3.400 exhibitors from all over the world at SIAL China 2018, Asia’s leading platform for international producers and manufacturers of food products, wines, spirits, and food service equipment. The massive three-day event was held at SNIEC, Shangai’s New International Expo Centre.

Diverse industry sectors such as Bakery Products, Beverages, Bio, Fine Foods, Fishing, Frozen Food, Meat Processing, Semi-Luxury Foods and Sweets met at the trade fair on its latest edition, which takes place once a year, to take advantage of the networking opportunities and many business possibilities.

SIAL China covered an area of nearly 162.000 sq. ft. of exhibition space in 14 halls and, as expected, exceeded a footfall of 110.000 visitors from all over the globe. The fair featured different events such as Sial Innovation, La Cuisine, World Tour, Retail & Hospitality Forum, Tea Event, Chocolate World, Seafood Fest, Wine Events and Region of Honour.

Duntower Corporation seized the chance to be present at SIAL China 2018, Asia’s leading food fair, a great place to access the Chinese and Asian food market. We met new contacts, potential business partners and clients, different suppliers, and we showcased the company’s many services and products.



Seafood Expo North America in Boston, Massachusetts

As always, Duntower Corporation made its way into another significant seafood industry event. This time, the company was present at Seafood Expo North America, a three-day fair which was held in Boston, Massachusetts and opened its doors from March 11 to 13.

The event was visited by thousands of buyers and suppliers, it featured 1,341 companies from 57 countries and more than 258,360 net square feet of exhibiting space.

Also, the trade fair packed a comprehensive conference program with more than 25 sessions, as well as a series of special events including a master class presentation, a chef demonstration, the 12th Oyster Shucking Competition, and the Seafood excellence Awards competition for Best New Retail Product and Best New Foodservice Product.

Our presence at the event proved to be an invaluable experience and a great occasion to connect with industry influencers in person on issues ranging from consumer trends to best business practices and public policy considerations.
